A very relaxing weekend...

This weekend we got rain and sleet followed by snow, and lots of it! Needless to say we didn't go very far (church on Sunday is the only outing we had all weekend). Saturday we relaxed and watched the MU game ~ here's Abigail's adorable Mizzou dress from Aunt Renie (and super cute leggings my friend Jessica made!)...

Wayne stopped by on Sunday and played a little MarioKart on the Wii with us. He and Abigail were playin' a bit...


Prunes are the newest food she's tried. The color really helps show off how much of a mess she likes to make! She likes to feed herself and gets upset if you don't let her hold the spoon.

I've posted since our anniversary, but not about it, so I thought I would do that...

My friend Desiree babysat for us and came over as soon as she got off work. Jordan and I got all dressed up and went to dinner at Pierpoints in Union Station. Dinner was excellent (seriously, it was fantastic!) and then we went to the Pantom of the Opera. The show was amazing ~ if you haven't seen it, you should! We both really enjoyed every aspect of the evening.

I think I take pictures every day of something cute that Abigail has done! It's amazing how many photos I have ~ I think we only take pictures of her these days. A Wonderful Weekend!

We had a great weekend with lots of fun! One of my good friends came to visit and we got together with some friends that I went to highschool with. LOTS of fun! Today we spent a ton of time outside, Jordan got a Tahoe (which is awesome!) and played kickball at 6. Abigail was a great baby all weekend... except... this morning she woke up at 5:30 and nothing could make her happy or calm her down. I'm pretty sure she's teething and a little baby orajel and a cold teething ring helped. Here are some pictures from this weekend...

Baptism

This last Sunday was Abigail's baptism. She wore my great-great Aunt Lenore's baptism gown. Aunt Lenore was 90 years old when she died two years ago, so the dress is really old. Abigail has been kicking like crazy at bath time and when the pastor poured the water she started kicking... and she kept watching the water throughout most of the ceremony. We had many people stop us after church and tell us how great she did... she made the entire congregation laugh at one point! Abby did amazingly well and everyone had an amazing time. Spring is scooting in??

We had some BEAUTIFUL weather this week (after the 5 inches of snow!)...

Thursday night it was over 80 degrees and Jordan got home! So, we grilled out and had a fantastic supper and a lot of fun playing with Abigail outside...

Wednesday one of my good friends came over, we went to dinner and then she came back to the house. We fed Abigail her bananas (which she loves) and got her all ready for bed. We were playing on the floor in her room and she rolled to her tummy (which she does nearly every time you put her down these days). Next thing I know her knees are up underneath her and she face plants into the blanket, she gets her knees back under her, gets her arms underneath her and face plants again! OH NO!! She made it about 2 feet before I grabbed her because she was getting pretty close to the corner of her dresser. We're in trouble now...

Jordan got promoted to Captian today (hopefully I can get pictures from others)! We are so proud of him and all of his accomplishments. As much as we miss having him home we know that he's gone because he needs to be and are so proud of everything that he's doing! We love you, Daddy!!
