June 13th
Last weekend Belinda and I traveled to Nebraska for our last "required" visit. We had moot court for our Crime Scene House group and they did great! This is a picture Belinda took in our hotel (courtesy of Wesleyan) Friday night... now you all know how big my belly is getting.

Baby's Room

Starting out...

Kudos, helping a lot...

We're getting there...

So proud of all our hard work!

Love it!

I've known what crib I wanted for a very long time, but for some reason it took four trips and a bit of a headache to FINALLY buy it and get it home!

We spent Wednesday night putting the crib together and, of course, once it was finished I had to put the bedding in/on it and wow! I love it! Having that in the room makes it all the more real... I'm getting excited :)

Changes... week 23

Jordan got home on Sunday from annual training (just over two weeks of being gone) and he couldn't believe how much I'd changed in that "short" period of time. It's crazy to me, too! We can now feel Peanut's movements on the outside.

I had another Doctor's appointment yesterday and - brace yourselves - I had gained nine pounds!! My Doctor said that the baby hit a growth spurt and because I lost a 1/2 pound last time she was actually kinda glad I gained a lot this time. Scared me, though! She said I can double what I've gained so far and be more than fine in the end, so that makes me feel good. Peanut's heartrate was in the high 140's and I measured at 22cm and I'm at 23 weeks, so she said that was great too (they like to see you measure + or - 2cm from the week you're at, I guess).

We are going crib shopping this week/weekend and I'm so excited!! I really can't wait to get the crib home and set up with the bedding and everything! It's getting more and more real every day... the crazy thing is that the scaryness is getting less and less...

Hiccups?

Saturday night at Jill (a friend from NW) and TJ's wedding I was feeling what felt like a little kick about every 15 seconds. I didn't think much of it Saturday, but I felt it again on Sunday and started to put two and two together thinking that it could be hiccups. I did some research (asking friends who recently were pregnant) and I'm pretty sure that Peanut is getting the hiccups and I can feel it now! I had to call Jordan right away yesterday (he's at Annual Training) and tell him. I was pretty excited and it was really fun. I can't wait until Jordan can feel all of the movements!
